STUDENT CODE OF CONDUCT

At Imagine Performing Arts Center, we aim to create a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment that fosters creativity, learning, and growth. To ensure a positive experience for all students, we expect each member of our community to adhere to the following Code of Conduct:

• Treat fellow students, instructors, staff, and volunteers with kindness, courtesy, and empathy.

• No forms of discrimination, harassment, bullying, or disrespectful behavior, including offensive language, gestures, or actions will not be tolerated!

• Arrive on time for all classes, rehearsals, and performances.

• Notify instructors in advance if unable to attend a class or rehearsal.

• Come to class with appropriate attire, dance shoes, and any required materials or equipment.

• Prioritize personal safety and the safety of others during all activities.

• Report any accidents, injuries, or unsafe conditions to the appropriate staff immediately.

• Keep the theaters/studios and common areas clean and organized.

• No using mobile phones or electronic devices during class or rehearsals unless there is an emergency.

• Give your full attention to the instructor and follow directions promptly.

• Refrain from disruptive behavior that interferes with the learning experience of others.

• Accept constructive criticism from instructors and peers graciously.

• Use feedback as an opportunity for improvement and growth.

• Be honest and truthful in all interactions and communications.

• Respect the intellectual property of others, including choreography, music, and artistic works.

• Follow the dress code guidelines provided by Imagine Performing Arts Center. 

• Embrace and celebrate the diversity of our community, fostering an inclusive atmosphere for all.

• Encourage and support your fellow students, fostering a collaborative and uplifting environment.

• Respect the privacy of others and refrain from sharing personal information without permission.

• Abide by all the rules, policies, and guidelines set forth by the Imagine Performing Arts Center.

 

At Imagine Performing Arts Center, it is essential for all students to comply with this Code of Conduct. This ensures a harmonious and respectful atmosphere for everyone involved. In cases where there are breaches of the Code, we will take necessary disciplinary actions, such as issuing warnings, implementing probationary periods, suspending participation, or, if deemed necessary, expulsion from classes and activities. By enrolling in our programs, you acknowledge and agree to uphold this Code of Conduct, helping us in building a disciplined and flourishing community that celebrates inclusivity and love for the performing arts.
