Ink Addicted
The first-ever solo show created and performed by a real tattoo artist. Ink Addicted is a funny, satirical, and thought-provoking solo show about a tattoo artist's journey, using stand-up, painting, poetry, music, dancing, and improv comedy to explore the challenges of identity within the art form.

About the event
Chris Trovador, the creator/performer, is an award-winning Afro-Latino, Puerto Rican comedy writer and artist with Orlando roots. Recently he was a finalist for the 2021 Nosotros Ya Tu Sabes Monologue Slam sponsored by NBC. He’s a five-time Upright Citizens Brigade Scholarship recipient, a two-time Emerging Content Creators Inclusion Initiative recipient, sponsored by NALIP and Warner Brothers Discovery. An actor of the National Hispanic Media Coalition Latinx Showcase and three time NBC/Second City Diversity Festival recipient. Chris has performed stand-up at L.A's top clubs as well as writing, directing, and teaching comedy/acting/storytelling at The Latinx Theater Alliance, The Second City, The Finest City San Diego, and multiple online courses. He was part of the 2014 prestigious Second City’s Directors Program and created The Second City’s Hollywood's first full Latinx ensemble comedy show. Chris continues to break barriers, through his writing, comedy, and art to help shine light on diverse stories.
